SANART Congresses

Since its foundation in 1991, SANART, Association of Aesthetics and Visual Culture has promoted visual arts by means of organising exhibitions and international symposia in Turkey. In 2006 and 2007, SANART organized the first congress on Turkish Aesthetics and the 17th International Congress of Aesthetics under the auspices of International Association of Aesthetics. Both congresses were held with the collaboration of Department of Philosophy at METU.
